A pair of low flying biritsh fighter jets flying low over cumbria, england. Caught off guard, so it hit the limiters hard. Equipment used: sound devices mixpre 3, sony ecm-680s & rode blimp ii.

These are samples from the new korg electribe emx2 music production station not the best recording quality but some nice sounds anyway the weird naming is due to the autoslice function in renoise wich i used to separate the samples from a one shot recording.

This is a series of sounds created for spitfire audio's make music day 2020 #spitfiremmd2020 it is a plastic drum, a springy pot rack and a big metal chip bin. There are both harmonic and enharmonic sounds here. The bin as a wonderful resonance and a lot of low end. This is a mono recording through a sennheiser 416 and an rme pre-amp. Enjoy!.

A meaty glass impact with some cracks forming afterward. Perfect sound for when the glass object breaks, or is nearly broken by some heavy metal object. Made by hitting a porcelain plate with a metal spoon, then crushing up some aluminium foil and ice chunks in my hand. The sound files were then pitch shifted and merged in audacity.

After hours of searching for the sound of a guitar hitting the ground, i resolved to just recording a quick piece. This is a small sized guitar hitting the ground a couple times on a carpeted floor (recorded in logic pro).

I have a metal container that is used to collect coins. Its lid is on a hinge and when this lid is hit it bounces, making progressively quieter noises each bounce. Fun stuff. Recorded with a boss br864 digital studio and a shure mic.

A low-pitched ringing sound made via a high-pitched asian bell with a clear ringing tone, struck with a wooden dowel, the audio then subjected to a sequence of pitch-changes downward, each combined with a flanger-type effect at various settings for rate, depth and regeneration.

This is the sound of hitting an office chair with the belt, including several strikes recorded from different angles. Some are very light with a high end smack and other are deep and boomy depending on the place of the microphone. Recorded with a zoom h4.

I was actually trying to make a different (but similar) sound for another purpose, and when i heard these, it reminded me of old kung fu movies where someone would throw a punch and just hit the air.

This is the sound of knocking the cork out of a bottle of champagne with a saber (after a few practice hacks that hit the glass rim of the bottle). Recorded with a boom microphone onto a p2 card via a panasonic hvx200 digital video camera.

This sound was created by mistake and i thought it sound perfectly like a bad transmission from radio or spacestation. I´ve cut the audiofile so it is loopable. Using a finger and a small blackroll tube, i recorded a few plopps with a rode nt-usb mini and the rode podcast recording software. Noise gate and compression were turned on at the time of recordings. For me, it sounds a little bit like a cork popping from a bottle, but it has a richer sound, somewhat overdoing it. . . Good for sfx though.

I went to a spot where traffic will slow down, stop and take off and drive at 60kms during peak. Klankbeeld hit me up to add geolocations so i am doing that along with dates, etc.

I initially created this snare using lmms ( linux multimedia studio ) and a single instance of the zynaddsubfx plugin. There were many effects and experiments done before exporting as an audio stem. Next i opened this stem ( single snare hit ) in bitwig studio and made a few copies of it and timestretched and chopped and then joined together in a group track the parts i liked to make the whole sound. Final effects included saturation, equalization , sidechain-limiting and compression.

Sounds of a wine glass being hit with a steel spoon and wooden stick, single hits and repetitive fast hits for imitating a bell of sorts. Going into nice overtones in the second part. Caution: may get noisy and ear-piercing ;). I recorded this for my own sound design purposes (game sfx) and thought i would share it with anyone who may find it useful - if you do, please help yourself and enjoy!.
